Can you hold a place before I apply?
No, the application is the first step in securing a property. We go by the first application received, which is fully completed and has the first spot in line for any given property. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
All rental advertising states what is required for move-in funds. We do not require a pre-paid last month's rent. Typically the deposit and first month's rent is what is required. -
How old do you have to be to apply?
18 years or older. -
Is the deposit refundable?
Provided all terms of the agreement are met then yes deposits are refundable after the tenancy. -
Who needs a cosigner?
Co-signers are not accepted. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
The only place we accept applications is from our website at https://www.sjcmanagement.com/rental-application-criteria. -
How do I pay rent?
Rent can be mailed to our PO Box or paid in the tenant portal. -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
You would need to notify us of any pets on the property and fill out a pet application https://sjcmanagementgroup.petscreening.com/. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
Please contact your property manager. Changes to who is on a lease cannot occur mid-term. But if you are on a month-to-month agreement then changes can be made. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Please notify us in writing of your intention to vacate. You can mail a letter to our PO Box or email us at email@sjcmanagement.com. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
The owner of the property is responsible for maintenance and maintenance requests can be submitted online at https://www.sjcmanagement.com/maintenance.
